Homemade Blinis

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 sift the flour and baking powder into a mixing bowl.
  • 2 beat the eggs and yogurt in another bowl. pour into the flour mixture and mix well. season to taste.
  • 3 leave the mixture to chill in the refrigerator for one hour.
  • 4 drop one tablespoon amounts of the batter into an oiled and heated non-stick skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • 5 when small holes form on the surface of the blinis, turn them over and cook for a further minute.
