Russian Toffee

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 11 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 mwlt butter, corn syrup and condensed milk in large heavy pan.
  • 2 add brown sugar.
  • 3 bring to a boil.
  • 4 stir constantly until candy therometer registers firm/hard ball stage.
  • 5 stir in pecans and vanilla.
  • 6 pour greased 11x17 inch baking sheet.
  • 7 cool.
  • 8 wrap in waxed paper.
