Ingredients
- 1 cup soft butter (margarine)
- 3/4 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup chopped nuts (peanuts, cashews)
Recipe
- 1 mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
- 2 blend flour and salt into butter mix.
- 3 mix in the nuts; chill until firm.
- 4 heat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 5 roll mix into 1in. balls.
- 6 place balls on ungreased cookie sheet; bake for 12 minutes.
- 7 while warm, roll the cookies in conf. sugar. cool. roll in sugar again.
- 8 eat! yum.
