Russian Teacakes

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 6 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Recipe

  • 1 mix thoroughly butter, sugar and vanilla. work in flour, salt and nuts until dough holds together. shape into 1 inch balls.
  • 2 place on ungreased cookie sheet. bake 10-12 minutes or until set but not brown.
  • 3 while warm, roll in powdered sugar. cool. roll in powdered sugar again.
