Russian Tea Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400.
- 2 cream butter, sugar and almond extract.
- 3 gradually stir in flour and salt.
- 4 add nuts and stir until well blended.
- 5 roll dough into teaspoon sized balls.
- 6 place on greased cookie sheet.
- 7 bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes, or until bottoms are light golden color.
- 8 while still hot roll cookies in additional powdered sugar. i usually roll them at least 2 times.
