Russian Tea Cakes

Ingredients

- 1 cup margarine or 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup walnuts, finely chopped
- powdered sugar
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 400°f.
- 2 mix margarine, 1/2 c powdered sugar, and the vanilla.
- 3 stir in flour, salt, and nuts.
- 4 shape dough into 1-inch balls.
- 5 place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- 6 bake until set, but not brown, 8 to 9 minutes.
- 7 roll in powdered sugar while warm; cool.
- 8 roll in powdered sugar again.
