Rolled Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 2/3 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 2/3 cups flour
• 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

• 1 preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
• 2 combine the sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
• 3 add in the egg, vanilla, and butter and mix until it forms dough.
• 4 roll out dough on a floured surface.
• 5 cut into shapes.
• 6 bake for about 8 minutes.
• 7 cool completely.
• 8 optional: make a glaze by combing powdered sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a tiny bit of water.
