Roasted Roma Tomatoes

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 lbs roma tomatoes, halved lengthwise
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400°f line a baking sheet with foil, and coat lightly with some of the olive oil.
- 2 in a small bowl, combine the remaining olive oil, garlic, basil, crushed red pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- 3 place tomatoes cut-side up on the baking sheet. brush with the olive oil mixture.
- 4 bake 25-30 minutes, or until the tomatoes have softened and are sizzling, with the edges slightly charred. serve hot.
