Sesame Asparagus With Garlic

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 lb asparagus
- sesame seeds (optional)
Recipe
- 1 combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- 2 snap off tough ends of asparagus.
- 3 place asparagus and 1/4 cup water in an 11 x 7 inch baking dish.
- 4 microwave at high 3 minutes or until tender, drain, pour the vinegar mixture over asparagus, toss well.
- 5 serve at room temperature or chilled.
- 6 sprinkle with sesame seed, if desired.
