Mustard Dill Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • 1/4 cup shallot, minced
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill

Recipe

  • 1 boil wine and shallots in heavy medium saucepan over high heat until liquid evaporates, about 4 minutes reduce heat to medium-high.
  • 2 add whipping cream and simmer until reduced by about 1/3- 2 or minutes.
  • 3 add dijon mustard and dill.
  • 4 simmer 2 minutes to blend flavors.
  • 5 season sauce to taste with salt and pepper.
