Mango Ginger Sorbet ( Ice Cream Maker )

Total Time: 3 hrs 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 3 hrs 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 (14 ounce) package pureed mangoes, thawed if previously frozen (or 2 large mangoes, pureed)
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • 3/4 teaspoon fresh grated gingerroot

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve the sugar in the water.
  • 2 stir in the mango puree, lime juice, and ginger.
  • 3 pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturerâ??s instructions.
  • 4 scrape into a container, seal tightly and let firm up in the freezer for about 3 hours before serving.
