Egg Custard Pie Ii

ingredients

  • servings: 1
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie

recipe

  • mix together eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, and salt, and pour into pie shell.
  • bake at 425 degrees f (220 degrees c) for 12-13 minutes, then reduce heat to 325 degrees f (165 degrees c) and bake for 30 minutes.
