Royal Cardamom Treats

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup semolina
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- oil, to fry
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
Recipe
- 1 beat eggs, one at a time, in a bowl, until light and fluffy.
- 2 add sugar and cream well.
- 3 mix in the salt and semolina.
- 4 continue to whisk it well.
- 5 add the cardamom powder and baking powder.
- 6 mix well.
- 7 cover and keep aside for 1-2 hours.
- 8 make sure that you beat this mixture every 15 minutes.
- 9 once the 2 hours have passed, heat enough oil in a wok to fry these wonderful treats.
- 10 drop a round spoonful of the mixture into the oil.
- 11 flatten slightly.
- 12 cook on low flame until golden.
- 13 carefully, flip these over and cook on the other side.
- 14 drain on clean paper towels.
- 15 serve with tea or coffee.
