Round Steak With Herbs

Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef round steak, cut 3/4 " thick
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 (10 1/4 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Recipe
- 1 trim fat from meat.
- 2 cut steak into serving size portions.
- 3 place onion in a 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker.
- 4 place meat on top of onion.
- 5 in a small bowl combine soup, oregano, thyme, and pepper.
- 6 pour over meat.
- 7 cover and cook on low heat setting for 10 to 12 hours or on high heat setting for 5 to 6 hours.
- 8 if desired, serve with hot cooked pasta.
