Root Float Pie

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) carton reduced-fat whipped topping, thawed and divided
- 3/4 cup root , cold diet
- 1/2 cup nonfat milk
- 1 (1 2/3 ounce) box sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 graham cracker crust (9 inches)
- maraschino cherry (optional)
Recipe
- 1 set aside and refrigerate 1/2 cup whipped topping for garnish.
- 2 in a large bowl, whisk the root , milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes.
- 3 fold in half of the remaining whipped topping.
- 4 spread into graham cracker crust.
- 5 spread remaining whipped topping over pie.
- 6 refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- 7 dollop reserved whipped topping over each serving.
- 8 top with a maraschino cherry if desired.
