Sesame Green Beans And Red Pepper

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoons cayenne pepper sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons grated peeled gingerroot
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut in half crosswise
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into very thin strips
  • lettuce (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  • 2 add sesame seeds.
  • 3 cook 1 to 2 minutes or until golden; shaking skillet often.

  • 5 whisk in hot sauce, olive oil, soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil and garlic; set aside.

  • 14 toss just before serving.
  • 15 serve on lettuce-lined plates, if desired.
