Sesame Beef

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 40 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb boneless sirloin
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 green onions, finely chopped (with tops)
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 trim fat from beef and cut diagonally across grain into slices as thin as you can.
  • 2 mix next 6 ingredients in large bowl.
  • 3 stir in beef until well coated.
  • 4 cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  • 5 drain beef.
  • 6 cook and stir sesame seed in 10 in.
  • 7 skillet over med.
  • 8 heat till light brown.
  • 9 remove from skillet.
  • 10 heat 1 tbsp veg oil in same skillet until hot.
  • 11 add beef and cook and stir until browned, 3-4 minutes.
  • 12 sprinkle with sesame seed.
  • 13 serve over rice.
