Sesame Asparagus..different And Delish!

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 bunches asparagus
  • 3 teaspoons dark sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • kosher salt
  • fresh cracked pepper

Recipe

  • 1 prepare asparagus by snapping off tough ends and peeling if stalks are very thick.
  • 2 place asparagus in large sauté pan of boiling salted water and let blanch for 3-5 minutes, until tender, but not soft.
  • 3 drain asparagus and put back in sauté pan and toss with sesame oil and soy sauce, over medium heat for 3 minutes, or until warm.
  • 4 salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5 sprinkle asparagus with toasted sesame seeds prior to serving.
