Ingredients
- 3 pints small beets
- 1 1/2 cups vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon pickling salt
- 2 tablespoons pickling spices (size of golf ball)
Recipe
- 1 boil beets until tender.
- 2 peel in cold water.
- 3 drop into hot sterilized jars.
- 4 boil brine for 1 minute.
- 5 pour over beets and seal.
- 6 note: i usually put spice in a tea ball and discard the spice after boiling.
