Ingredients
- 8 cucumbers
- 4 -6 onions
- 2 tablespoons pickling salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups vinegar
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
Recipe
- 1 slice onions.
- 2 peel and slice cucumbers.
- 3 sprinkle with salt and let stand overnight.
- 4 drain.
- 5 place in a pot and cover with a little water.
- 6 bring to a boil and drain.
- 7 mix flour with some vinegar to make a paste. add rest of ingredients.
- 8 combine with cucumbers and onions.
- 9 bring to a boil.
- 10 pour into hot sterilized jars and seal.
